Four years ago ten year old Yaren lost her mother. This summer she nervously leaves for a special kind of camp: a grieving camp. Here, all the kids have lost someone close to them. In five beautiful, intense days Yaren and the other kids at camp bond over that one thing they all have in common: their grief. A film about grief, healing and friendship.

They are filmmakers from two totally different worlds. Joren has written for Flemish television and movies for over eight years and Renate has made a name for herself as a commercial and music video director. Their skillsets compliment each other weirdly and wonderfully well. Together they make documentary and narrative films they are passionate about.
