A young daughter of a rural Chinese oyster harvester faces abandonment when her single mother is offered a chance to start life anew in a brand new surrounding with her younger brother.
His exposure to two immensely contrasting worlds has deeply impacted his perspective on both life and cinema. With a diverse cultural background and a singular visual style, is inspired to integrate his eastern aesthetics with western storytelling via his work. He was awarded the Best Cinematography Award at the 2016 ShortPole London International Film Festival. He is currently in production on his second feature as the Director of Cinematography.
