The Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Youth is organizing, as part of its 26th edition two-day International Meeting on Film Education on the weekend December 2 and 3, 2023 in Pyrgos. The Meeting aims to provide to the participants the opportunity to get to know the trends, quests, good practices and current challenges in the field of film education.
The meeting is aimed to educators who wish to creatively integrate cinema into the educational process, to film education specialists who wish to be in contact with good practices, but also to filmmakers who are looking for ways to approach children and adolescents.
During the two-day event, practical experiential workshops, presentations and discussions will take place. The intention of the Olympia Festival is that the ground of the Meeting will prove fertile for the active community of film education in our country. Greek and foreign experts have been invited and will participate in the meeting. Participants will be given certificates of attendance.
The meeting will take place with the financial support of the Municipality of Pyrgos, in cooperation with the Regional Directorate of Education of Western Greece and the Directorates of Primary and Secondary Education of the regional unit of Ilia.
