Alain Bergala<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

He was editor-in-chief and feature director at Cahiers du cin\u00e9ma. He is a specialist in the work of Jean-Luc Godard, was the editor of the filmmaker\u2019s two volume book \u201cGodard on Godard\u201d (\u201cGodard par Godard\u201d) and has written several books including \u201cGodard au travail, les ann\u00e9es 60\u201d (\u201cGodard at work: the 1960s\u201d). He is also the author of numerous articles and books on Rossellini, Kiarostami, Bu\u00f1uel, etc. In 2000, he became Jack Lang\u2019s film advisor, and worked with him at the Ministry of Education on the introduction of art in basic education. He further developed the concept of teaching cinema to children and young people in his book \u201cThe Cinema Hypothesis\u201d (\u201cL\u2019hypoth\u00e8se cin\u00e9ma\u201d) and oversaw the project Eden Cin\u00e9ma, a collection of royalty-free DVDs for the diffusion of cinema in the classroom. Since 1995, he has been the instructor and artistic advisor of the international project \u201cCin\u00e9ma cent ans de jeunesse\u201d (Cinema, 100 years young). He has made several films for cinema and television, including Faux-Fuyants (1983), O\u00f9 que tu sois (1987), Pasolini la passion de Rome (2013) and filmed essays on Pavese, Fernand L\u00e9ger, Jean Renoir, Victor Erice and Kiyoshi Kurosawa. He has been a lecturer at the universities of Lyon 2, Rennes 2 and Paris 3 Sorbonne nouvelle, as well as director of the film analysis department at La Femis. Last but not least, he has curated exhibitions such as: Correspondances: Kiarostami Erice (Centre Pompidou 2006), Brune Blonde (Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que fran\u00e7aise 2010), Pasolini Roma (Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, Rome 2013).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Angeliki Darlasi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Author of children\u2019s and young adult literature, playwright, screenwriter, and\ninstructor of creative writing for children and adults. She has received numerous\ndistinctions for her literary work (both prose and theatrical). Her works\nhave been featured in the IBBY International Honour Lists, as well as in the\nWhite Ravens International Catalogue. She has received the Greek National\nPrize for Children and Youth Theatre (2018, 2010), the award for Best Novel\nfor young adults from the Greek Section of IBBY (2018, 2010), the award for\nthe Best Illustrated Book for children and young adults (2015), as well as the\nState Literary Award for Best Children\u2019s (2005), and numerous other awards.\nHer books and plays have been translated into Turkish, Korean, French, Italian,\nEnglish, and German. Her books have been adapted into theatre and puppet\ntheatre productions, as well as into films based on her own scripts, which are\nin the development stage. Her plays have been performed both in Greece and\nabroad (in Rome, Karlsruhe, London). She has been a member of juries for the\nNational Awards for Children\u2019s Literature, as well as president of the jury of\nthe European and International Competition Programme of Camera Zizanio.\nShe participates in actions and programmes focusing on the love of reading,\nas well as on the theatrical and cinematic expression and education of children\nand young people. \u201cHans Christian Andersen Award 2024\u201d Author Greek\nNominee \u2013 IBBY Greece.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

She is co-founder of non-profit organization \nKids meet art engaged in film literacy programs in Croatia and Board member of European Children Film Association - ECFA. As business consultant has many years of experience in corporative sector business and in institutional field; expert in strategic planning processes and in designing of development strategies. For the past decade,\nshe has been specialised in upgrading capacities of cultural organisation and in developing methodologies of audience development. AS CEO of Kids Meet Art, she is actively involved in developing various film literacy programs in Croatia and also in Europe thanks to financing from MEDIA Subprogram.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Marta Jodko<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

She has been working as a programmer at the International Young Audience\nFilm Festival Ale Kino! since 2010. She also curates a film programme for the\nBiennial Art For Children in Pozna\u0144 and the children part of the Animated Film\nFestival Animator. As an educator, she worked at the National Museum and in\nseveral cinemas in Pozna\u0144. She graduated in Art History from the Adam Mickiewicz\nUniversity in Pozna\u0144.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Rowena Martinez<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

She is the founding chairperson of the Universal Kids Film Festival in Istanbul\nTurkey. Her career in Children\u2019s Cinema spans 35 years of dedicated work and\nadvocacy in forging the value of peace among young people through cultural\ndiplomacy as embodied in international cinematic exchanges and media literacy\nfor children. Rowena was the president of the board of directors of the\nChildren\u2019s Film and Art Association (CFAA) in Turkey for ten years from 2012-\n2022. The organization manages the annual activities of the Universal Kids\nFilm Festival. In addition Rowena is a member of ECFA and CIFEJ.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Elisa Giovannelli<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After a master\u2019s degree in Promoting Film Heritage, Elisa Giovannelli started\nto work at Cineteca di Bologna - Educational Department Schermi e Lavagne,\nwhich she has been leading since 2009. Schermi e Lavagne organizes and\nmanages many activities about film history and language, like European and\nnational Film Education projects for schools, teachers training, Kids Film\nClubs, short film contests, Youngsters\u2019 Ambassador schemes. Elisa Giovannelli\norganizes the annual Europa Cinemas\u2019 seminars in Bologna during the festival\nIl Cinema Ritrovato. She has been a member of the ECFA Board since 2017.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Marco Gastine<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A French-Greek filmmaker, Marco Gastine was born in Paris. After a brief career\nas an architect, he moved to Athens in the early 1980\u2019s and took up filmmaking.\nHe has written, directed, and produced mostly creative documentaries\nwith social interest, as \u201cMarseilles, a Greek profile\u201d (Best Greek Documentary\nAward 2004), \u201cThemis\u201d (Cannes Festival 2009), \u201cDemokratia, the Way of the\nCross\u201d (nominated for Prix Europa 2013) and \u201cAs Far As the Sea\u201d (Best Documentary, LAGFF 2020). Through Minimal Films (Athens), his own production\ncompany, he has also produced other Greek filmmakers\u2019 documentaries as\n\u201cNext Stop, Utopia\u201d by Apostolos Karakasis (IDFA 2015). He is teaching in\nAthens film school Stavrakou and various international workshops (MFI, etc).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e9rgio Marques<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u0397e was born in 1971 in Portugal. He is an author and coordinator of the Inflatable\nCinema project. He studied to become a visual and arts teacher for\n1st-grade students, but instead started creating and developed his own cultural\nprojects. In 2011 he created the Association and is responsible for all the\ninnovative projects and cultural experiences. Some of his works include: Cinema\nin the Street, an open-air cinema in Lisbon, with free entrance in public\nplaces, that ran from 2011 to 2016. It included quality cinema, classics, and\nEuropean movies that were screening in places that, somehow, contextualized\nthe theme of the movie. Half Nine, a nomad cinema club. From 2015 to\n2017, a cinema team moved all around the city of Porto to collectives organized\nin social quarters, schools, and public places, and held sessions with\ncinema and conversations. Video Lucem, Cinema in Algarve Churches. From\n2017 till 2019, cinema screenings were held in 30 churches of Algarve, as well\nas 15 cine-concerts. The events aim to take art to places where it doesn\u2019t\nusually go and gather more than 15.000 viewers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Kevin De Ridder<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

He holds a master\u2019s degree in Communication Sciences from the University\nof Ghent and a postgraduate diploma in Applied Audiovisual Communication\nfrom Thomas More. He has worked as a communication and outreach manager\nat various audiovisual institutions in Belgium, and as a film critic for several\nmedia. Over the years he has been active in different fields (exhibition, distribution\nand education), aiming to connect audiences with film. Since 2019, he\nworks as a film programmer at JEF. JEF is the point of contact for anyone\ndealing with youth, film and new media, at school or in leisure time, in the\nDutch speaking part of Belgium. JEF organizes the largest youth film festival\nin Flanders.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sibylle St\u00fcrmer<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

She is a Professor at the Macromedia University of Applied Sciences in Cologne\nand she has been a Local Head of Faculty of Creative Arts of the institution for\nmore than a decade and until recently. She has also served as Head of Film\/\nTelevision Study Program for Cologne, Munich and Berlin departments of the\nsame university. She is the manager of \u201cMein bewegtes Leben\u2019\u2019 film production\ncompany. She studied Graphic-Design and Film\/Television at postgraduate\nlevel and she has worked as director, cinematographer and editor for\ndocumentary films, dance films and dance documentaries for more than 15\nyears, before she started teaching. Her films and video installations have\nparticipated in festivals and won various prizes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Eirini Delidaki<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

She is a Film & Museum Educator of the Thessaloniki Cinema Museum (department\nof Thessaloniki Film Festival). Since 2009, Eirini Delidaki has been in\ncharge of the design and implementation of TCM\u2019s educational programs for\nall age-groups and collaboration with schools and teachers. Since 2011, she\nhas been collaborating with the Directorate of Primary & Secondary Education\nfor the organization of seminars for teachers. She is, also, one of the members\nof the film selection team of the pre-mentioned units of the educational section\nof Festival called nextgen<\/strong> . She designs the educational material and the\ninteractive activities of these screenings. She is a PhD candidate at the department\nof Cultural Technology and Communication at the University of the\nAegean. Her main research interests focus on the contribution of the Film\nEducation & TCM\u2019s educational programs to the emotional, aesthetic and\ncognitive development of children.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Marion Heimlund<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

She started to work for at Norway\u2019s largest International Children\u2019s Film Festival\nin Kristiansand (KICFF) as programmer in August 2021. Since 2007, she\nhas been actively engaged with the film industry and, among others, worked together with Troms\u00f8 International Film Festival. She is the children and youth\nrepresentative in the board of the Film Club Association in Norway.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Alessandro Stevanon<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

He is a media and film lecturer, producer and director. His productions include\nshort films and documentaries that have been screened at several international\nfestivals (Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, Visions du\nR\u00e9el, TIFF Kids International Film Festival, Mostra Internazionale d\u2019Arte Cinematografica\ndi Venezia, etc.) and have received major awards, including the\n\u201cMichelangelo Antonioni\u201d Prize. From 2016 to 2021 he was the director of\nFrontdoc - International Documentary Film Festival. Since 2021 he has been\nthe artistic director of the Cactus International Children\u2019s and Youth Film\nFestival for which he is also responsible for the educational programme.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Zuzana Bahulova<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

She is a Czech animator and designer. She has a PhD in animation and during\nher studies she was on several prestigious academic stays abroad, one of them\nwas at CalArts (USA), established by Walt Disney. She is working for the\nrenowned Zl\u00edn Film Festival (CZE) as a programmer for short animations.\nNumerous of her animations were screened on several festivals around the\nworld. Her projects \u201cHi-Tech Footwear Skin\u201d won prestigious design awards\n\u2013 Red Dot (2x), German Innovation Awards, European Product Design Award\nand Global Footwear Awards. The design of the volleyball \u201cHandshake\u201d won\nGerman Innovation Awards. Clothes\/uniform collections designed by Dr.\nBahulova were worn by German and Jamaican national teams during past\nOlympic Games.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Anastasia Dimitra<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

She is a professor and Head of the Animation and Interactive Media and Game\nDesign courses at AKTO Art and Design (certified college of Middlesex University\nof London). She also teaches at the MSc Animation course of the University\nof West Attica. She has taught animation at universities both in Greece and\nabroad. She has collaborated on the production of animation films with the\nmost prestigious companies in Greece, including Kounoupi and Artoon Ltd.\nIn 1995 she established her own production company and created numerous\nproductions, such as Cartoonia 36\/Episodes 26 for Greek television. She has\ncreated the films Diadromes (2011) [Routes], Emmones (2015) [Obsessions],\nand Simmathitria (2021) [The Classmate]. She participates in numerous\nresearch programmes, she has written books and articles on the art of animation,\nand she has served as president and jury member in animation festivals,\nincluding the selection jury of the Hiroshima International Animation Festival\nin 2002. She is an administrator of ASIFA HELLAS and vice president of ASIFA\nInternational.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

From 2011 to 2013\nhe was the director of Toon a Ville, professional conferences focused on children\u2019s\ncontent for TV and founder and director of Toon a Ville S.L., a company\nspecialized in the development of children\u2019s tourist guides in Augmented\nReality.
