Bartel was sent to live with his grandparents when his mother got pregnant with Adikeer. Trying to connect them, their parents enroll them in the same class. When summer vacation arrives, their father doesn’t show up. Adikeer decides to go home with Bartel. He remembers his father’s advice if they’re ever lost in grasslands: follow the river, because all the nomads live near water. Finally, they reach a place where the water is flowing, and there they find a huge, thundering gold mining machine and their father who has become a gold miner

LI Ruijun

LI Ruijun, (Beijing, China) was born in Gansu Province, China in 1983. At the age of 14, he studied painting and music. In 2003, he graduated from the Institute of Management of China National Ministry of Radio, Film and Television. Until now, he have already directed four films
