    On the east side of Detroit an 11-year-old boy, grieving over the loss of his best friend, encounters an artist who makes art out of abandoned objects.

    Her film, “Scrap Dolls,” world premiered at the 2017 San Francisco International Film Festival and had its international premiere at the International Short Film festival Oberhausen where it won the Prize of the Children’s Jury. “Scrap Dolls” also won the Knight Jury Prize in the Detroit Voices category of the 2017 Cinetopia film festival. Aude was one of 10 international filmmakers selected for the 2014 Cine Qua Non Screenwriting Lab. She has a BA in Film Studies from Wesleyan University in the United States and currently lives in New York City.
