Hold me / Abrázame

“Hold me” is a window into the world of children who are growing up, living inside a Bolivian prison with their mothers. Six year old Jhoselyin and her friends leave the prison on the school bus each day and escape from their reality through their games and imaginations. The film explores the way children process their lives, and predicts the dangers that are lurking for them around the corner.
Jas Pitt

She is a director with a passion for films that push the boundaries of the documentary genre. Using techniques such as psychodrama, imaginative play, and fictional storytelling her work explores the internal world of real life characters. Jas’ debut short "Kids on Gender" screened internationally at LGBT+ film festivals winning the audience award at LFFF. Over the last two years Jas has directed 5 films through her MA at the National Film and Television School.
