One summer’s day we started a business called Funerals Ltd., to help all the poor dead animals in the world. Esther did the digging, I wrote the poems, and Esther’s little brother, Puttie, cried.
Michael Ekblad, Alexandra Schatz
He was born in 1960 in Sweden. Educated in animation at Sheridan College of Visual Arts Toronto, Canada. Worked as a proffesional animator, designer and director since 1985. Co-owner and co-founder of production company Sluggerfilm AB in Malmö, Sweden.
She was born in 1955 in Pirmasens, Germany. She studied Film and Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts of Braunschweig. Since 1981 she has been working as a freelance director and producer of animation films for children, producing over two hundred films for children’s TV programs of major networks. She was a Lecturer in animation film at the Academy of Fine Arts of Braunschweig. During the period 2000-02, she was Head of Animation Development for RTV Family Entertainment AG Munich. Since 2003, she works for the development and the production of animation series, shorts, TV-specials and animation feature in International coproductions.
