A 13-year-old Nina is feeling trapped in her relation with bossy Vassil, who is preparing her to be a skilled pickpocket in Spain. There are days when she is almost ready to escape from him.

Hristo Simeonov

He is a film director and writer based in Sofia. Α Berlinale and Sarajevo Talent alumni. His collaboration with human rights foundations in Bulgaria resulted in the creation of multiple documentaries and videos with social agendas. His short fiction films have been shown at international festivals like Clermont-Ferrand, Tampere, Krakow, Dresden, Bilbao, Cottbus, Molodist, Triest, Thessaloniki, Vienna, etc. His debut short film "The son" (2015) won the Main Short Film Prize at Cottbus Film Festival (2016) and Best Bulgarian Short Film at the Bulgarian Film Academy Awards.
