When Chris' mother disappears without a trace, he and his father Toon are both confronted with great sadness. While Chris is able to cry and emote, Toon cannot bring himself to be vulnerable and literally swallows his tears. His body starts to fill up and he grows away from Chris.
Lotte Salomons
She was born in 2000. She studied directing documentary at the Netherlands Film Academy and graduated in 2021. She started acting in plays from a young age. The possible dialogue with an audience fascinated her and this led her to film. Lotte makes conceptual and emotional intelligent films. A reoccurring theme is the distorted bond between parent and child. She is currently developing two new projects with the Dutch Film Fund.
