A handpainted animation film about a woman who is fascinated with the wilderness beyond the walls of the post-apocalyptic and desolate village she lives in. A dangerous intruder finally gives her the chance to discover the wild animal within and the means to escape her suffocating situation.

They all graduated from the HKU University of the Arts in Utrecht. They founded the Moldybyrd Studio, a three-piece animation and illustration studio in the Netherlands. United in their love for magical realism, myth and painted craftsmanship, they joined forces to create the painted animation short: Pilar.
