After the death of their mother, two sisters consider parting with their childhood home. For the older one, who has already left the house, it seems clearer. But for the younger one, the plantation in the Mexican countryside is full of memories.
Cris Gris
She is a Mexican filmmaker whose films have screened internationally in prestigious festivals, including Critics Week at Cannes. Her short San Miguel (2018) received the Spike Lee Film Production Fund, and was named an NBR student grant winner. Gris is a Film Independent Project Involve 2020 Fellow and a 2021 Sundance Institute Screenwriters, and Directors Lab Fellow. Cris Gris recently directed a few episodes of an HBO comedy series on trap music.
