Digital and simulated cameras

Instructor: Rigas Kougolos, holder of a master's degree in Visual and Applied Arts, 3D Generalist/Animator

An introduction to 3D graphics, yet from a more familiar perspective to people interested in the art of cinema. To avoid getting lost in the endless settings of the software, we will limit ourselves to the settings of the camera and its position. With the use of presentations, games and group activities we will familiarize ourselves with the corresponding cinematographic and technical concepts, and trying to put them into practice. In the 1st session, there will be a presentation of the various ways digital cameras are used, the differences between them and their settings. In the 2nd session, there will be an introduction to navigating in the specific software and its basic tools. In the 3rd session, we will apply the acquired knowledge to create small animations of the same scene with different cinematic perspectives.
