A series of screenings and educational activities based on the educational material of the Cinemini Europe platform, in kindergartens of the municipality of Pyrgos.
Children watch movies on a daily basis. How can we make watching movies a meaningful experience? How and what can we teach children at a very young age about film and media, since the early years are the most formative?
Cinemini Europe, an educational program with films, activities and teaching materials for children aged 3-6, tries to answer these questions in a practical way.
Cinemini Europe was launched in 2019 by the Austrian Film Museum, the German Film Institute and Film Museum, Eye Film Museum (Netherlands), Kinodvor Cinema (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and children's film festival Taartrovers (Netherlands) as partners. In 2021, the Baltic School of Film, Media, Arts and Communication BFM (Estonia), ECFA and the Seralves Foundation (Portugal) were added to the partners.
Cinemini Europe is supported by the Creative Europe programme.
The screenings and educational activities are implemented with the support of the Municipality of Pyrgos
