Under the scorching sun on the coast of Veracruz, Mexico, a 10-year-old boy, who works with his older brother delivering water jugs on an old tricycle, crosses paths with a girl his age. This encounter forces him to face a dilemma: should he fulfill his responsibilities or disobey his brother and embark on a small, three-wheeled adventure?

Jose Eduardo Castilla Ponce

Born in the Mexican city of Puebla, he has worked as a director, screenwriter and assistant director on various audiovisual projects including fiction films, documentaries, commercials and music videos. He has directed three short films and is the co-founder of the Persignados production company which focuses on creating music videos and fiction films. He is currently studying film directing at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico City.
