Luca Ciriello
He was born in Naples in 1988. He is a documentary filmmaker and producer. He graduated in Modern Philology and, in 2017, founded the film company Lunia Film. In 2020, he participated in the Giornate degli Autori at the Venice Film Festival with the documentary Forty Horsepower (winner of the Laguna Sud Award) and at the Festival dei Popoli in Florence with L’armée rouge. He won the Audience Award for Best Documentary at the Laceno d'Oro (Avellino) with the collective documentary Ponticelli Terra Buona. He has worked as a documentarian in Italy, Spain, France, Tanzania, Colombia, Senegal, and Sri Lanka.
