Coming from an impoverished family, his dream of becoming a musician seems unattainable. But the young boy refuses to give up until he fulfills his dream: to become one of the best clarinet soloists in the world

Fivos Kontogiannis

He was born in Athens in 1983. He studied Fine Arts in Athens and Film in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Rome and graduated from the Nuova Università del Cinema e Televisione (Cinecittà Studios). He has worked in Italy and Greece as an assistant director in over 15 feature films. He has also written and directed four short films and two feature-length documentaries, which have been screened and awarded at festivals worldwide. He is currently developing the script for his first feature film.
