The film introduces three children of different origins whose families fled to the Netherlands for various reasons. In a recreated bedroom, the girls draw and describe their self-invented fantasy monster, Cappi Don Liii. As they reflect on the monster, they explore both joyful and challenging memories, discuss their experiences growing up in an asylum seekers' center, and delve into the strength of their friendship and imagination.
Lotte Salomons
She was born in 2000. She studied Documentary Direction at the Netherlands Film Academy and graduated in 2021. She started acting in plays from a young age. The possible dialogue with an audience fascinated her and this led her to film. Lotte makes conceptual and emotional intelligent films.
