In this workshop, participants will explore the latest AI technologies and their exciting applications in cinema and audiovisual media.
AI has introduced radical changes by producing texts, images, videos, composed voices, music, sound effects and 3D graphics. At the same time, ethical and legal questions are raised, with AI’s extensive use causing various reactions. In this workshop, young people discover the history and evolution of AI and are trained in using creative tools and production techniques.
Working in teams, they imagine and construct spaces, characters and actions, create images and videos, compose voices and music, synchronize sounds and add graphics and effects, thus creatively exploiting the potential of this innovative technology.

Nikos Stamboulopoulos
He is a director, screenwriter, editor and professor of directing at SAE Athens College, with over 20 years of experience in film education. He has directed TV documentaries and short fiction films, and has worked for years on commercial, corporate and music video production in Greece and the Netherlands. Moreover, he is the creator of the science fiction project Hex Space, which is largely composed of images and videos created with AI
He has been following the development of AI in the
audiovisual field since its early days. He has written articles and given lectures on AI,
and the impact of AI on the economy and society.
