The one who hopes

He is a scriptwriter and film director based in Athens. His short films have been showcased at numerous international festivals, including DramaFF, AthensFF, and OberhausenFF, winning Best Experimental Film at Euroshorts 2015 for Athens. Fail. Better. Fail. Better. He is an alumnus of Sarajevo Talents and IDFAcademy, programs for emerging directors. His debut feature documentary, Back to the Top, won the Audience Award and ERT Award at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival and has screened at festivals such as Thessaloniki IFF, Tirana IFF, Los Angeles Greek Film Festival, and BOSIFEST, as well as in Greek cinemas and various VOD platforms. He is currently developing his first fiction feature, which received a script mention from the Script Writers Guild of Greece and production support from ERT. His second feature documentary, Esperanto, is in production with funding from the Greek Film Centre. His podcast The Letters I Have Read About Her won the Golden Alexander Award for Best Podcast at the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival in 2021.
