Chloë van Baar

She was born in 1997 in the Netherlands. She holds a BA in Media and Culture (2018) and an MA in Film Studies (2020) from the University of Amsterdam. She began her journey with Cinekid Festival as an intern in the programming department during the 2018 edition and has since been working as a programmer and producer for the festival for over four years.

Paraskevi Karageorgu

She is the Artistic Director of Meetings of Young European Cinema, the largest international film festival in Bulgaria dedicated to children and young people. She is an expert in film education programmes and an experienced film festival programmer. In 2019, she joined the London-based documentary production company Doc Society, where she helped develop an educational methodology for schools using documentary cinema. Before that, she lived in Slovenia, where she produced the Eye on Film Youth Film Festival. She has also worked as a programmer for the Warsaw Film Festival and Sofia DocuMental – International Human Rights Film Festival. Since 2020, she has been actively involved in numerous projects of the Arte Urbana Collectif Association, where she develops initiatives connecting cinema, education, and social engagement. Through Arte Urbana—partner of major European projects such as Cinéma, Cent Ans de Jeunesse, CinEd, ShortCut, DigitAtelier and NextUs Global, and a member of the European Children’s Film Association (ECFA)—she contributes to shaping the European film education landscape. She is also the founder of My Place in Cinema, a programme empowering teenage girls through film screenings and discussions, and Cinefonia, a multidisciplinary project that unites sound, music, and film through children’s workshops, masterclasses, and cineconcerts.

Konrad Neiße

He was born in 1996 in southern Germany. This year, he obtained his Master’s degree in Media Studies from Ruhr University Bochum. He is part of the organizing teams of several film festivals in the Ruhr area, including doxs! and the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. Through this work, he developed a strong interest in short films and film education. He is currently the Head of the Children’s and Youth Film Section at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen.
