Expected behavior
- Treat everyone with respect. We are all equal.
- Be open to alternate points of view. We come from different backgrounds and experiences, and we can disagree on things.
- Ask for consent. It is not a consent if it is not crystal clear.
Unacceptable behavior
- Insult, abuse, threaten, bully in any kind of form (speech and/or text and/or imagery).
- Discrimination of any kind (gender, sexual orientation, physical appearance, body size, age, race, ethnicity, religion, disability).
- Harassment. Physical or verbal in real or virtual spaces.
- Display of inappropriate content (Sexual language and imagery).
- Stalking and following.
- Unauthorized recording or photographing.
- Sustained disruption of talks or events.
- Deliberate intimidation.
- Unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention.
Consequences of unacceptable behavior
The above Code of Conduct outlines the OIFF expectations for all attendees and participants, including jury, film representatives, speakers, festival representatives, media representatives, film industry professionals, sponsors, volunteers and staff. Cooperation is expected from everyone, and violations may result even in eviction from the festival.
