Petros, a five-year-old boy, spends the autumn season in a pediatric oncology clinic, bringing Christmas a bit earlier for the sake of his sister who, due to her illness, may not live to see it.
Kostas Bakouris
He is a director, screenwriter, and producer. He was born in Marousi and raised in Piraeus. He studied Film and Television Directing at the State University of New York and Sociology at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, while holding a Master’s degree with distinction in Psychology and Mass Media. He began his career directing music videos for various artists, before moving into television. He has also directed a stage production at the Municipal Theater of Piraeus. He is currently preparing for his PhD while working in advertising and scripted television. His short films Heimlich and IS, or: A beautiful, tiny reddish hair, as thin as fiberhave been selected by 85 international film festivals, earning over 40 awards and distinctions.
