Building a story with the materials of reality
The workshop invites participants to explore how reality can be transformed into cinematic storytelling. Over the course of four days, with a camera and a story waiting to be told, students learn to observe the world through the lens, capture real-life moments, and turn them into a film. From shooting and editing to screening for an audience, the group experiences the entire documentary-making process. By the end of the workshop, participants present their own short documentary that does not merely record reality, but tells the truth through images..
