An old silent documentary from 1910, rediscovered and restored, tells the story of the passenger pigeon, the most abundant bird on earth, exterminated in just a few decades by the brutality of humans. The film is enriched by the audio testimony of the last passenger pigeon: Martha.
Marcel Barelli
He was born in 1985 in Lodrino, Switzerland. He is a director of animated films and author of illustrated books. Passionate about animals and nature, he develops all his projects around these themes. His short films have been selected in hundreds of international festivals and won numerous awards all over the world. He lives and works in Geneva.
