Juries

The cinema analysis workshops of the Olympia Festival

Cinema is a journey without luggage. You open your heart and your eyes, and within minutes you find yourself in another country, another story, inside someone else’s life. This is exactly what the Olympia Film Festival and Camera Zizanio offer every year to the children and young people of Ilia—films from every corner of the world.

In the screening rooms of the Festival, there are some special seats reserved for the children’s juries—young viewers who watch, laugh, feel moved, discuss, and finally decide which film will receive their award. It’s a prize that directors and filmmakers eagerly anticipate, because it’s the truest one—given by children.

The experience of being on the jury is not just entertainment. It is a first introduction to the language of cinema, an opportunity to hear the opinions of your peers and to learn how to express your own. It’s like putting on a new pair of glasses and discovering details you had never noticed before when watching a film.

This year, at the 28th Olympia Festival and the 25th Camera Zizanio, we invite you to become part of this experience too. Choose the section that suits you, join the jury, and live the magic of cinema from the inside – as a viewer, as a judge, as a true traveler through the stories of the big screen.
