Patty is such a girly name

He studied directing at Likourgos Stavrakos’ School of Cinematography and Television in Athens. Later, he studied Sociology in Rome at Università Roma I: La Sapienza, and European Culture at the Hellenic Open University. Influenced by his father, a director of photography of numerous classic Greek films, he became involved in the film industry early on. Alongside his studies, he began working as a film editor and soon as a director and producer of TV commercials, documentaries, and educational series for National Television. In 1999 he returned to Greece and took over Multivision, a production company based in Athens. His debut feature film Tungsten (2011), an episodic black-and-white drama made on an extremely low budget, screened at festivals worldwide and received multiple awards, including Best Film, Director, Screenplay, and Editing at the Cyprus International Film Festival, as well as nominations from the Hellenic Film Academy. His second feature, Not to be Unpleasant, but we need to have a serious talk (2019), premiered at the Austin Film Festival and went on to win the J.F. Costopoulos Foundation Award for Best Greek Film at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival and the Film of the Festival Award at Raindance, among other distinctions.
