25 years of Camera Zizanio, 25 years of Camera Zizanio European Youth Audiovisual Meeting.. Why "meeting" and not just another youth festival? Why is Camera Zizanio space for creation, field of dialogue and community of action together. 3 constants lead us on this exciting journey: Young people, their stories and their right to be heard.
On the occasion of our 25th anniversary, we have prepared a film package with some of the most representative examples of cinema by children for children, since all the creators participating in Camera Zizanio are from 4 to 20 years old.
These films were chosen to become a live tool in her/his hands teacher. They open the dialogue about the art of cinema, while at the same time raise critical issues that engage young people, transferring the their authentic voice and look. We aspire to constitute a substantial source of inspiration, encouraging your students to create their own movie and to express themselves through cinema about whatever concerns them.
The Focus a fundamental concept in filmmaking, is on Inspiration!
The program has a duration one teaching hour, along with the presence of a Festival representative, for a fruitful discussion about cinema and youth creativity. It is addressed to all levels of education, with a corresponding selection of films, and can take place at the level of a class, a group, or a school-wide event. The date and time will be arranged through direct communication between the Festival and your school.
The workshop will be held in school units between January and April 2026
