The Sound Workshop – Foley Art

A workshop where children discover the magical role of sound in cinema and how it can create atmosphere, evoke emotions, and bring stories on screen to life. Through experimenting with objects, play, and creative activities, children explore different sounds and techniques, learning how to build the immersive sound world of a film.

Instructor: Stavros Robotis

He was born in Pyrgos in 1979. He studied Computer Technician in Patras and worked in the field of IT for 18 years as an employee and as a freelancer. He has been working in culture and audiovisual media since 2001 as a radio producer, videographer and editor, while his short stories have been published in collective publications. Since 2001 he has been involved in theater as an amateur actor, and since 2015 he is a theater animator at the Greek Conservatory of Pyrgos, staging theatrical performances with children aged 7-18. He has been working at the Festival since 2022, with an emphasis on educational activities, for the needs of which she is constantly trained. He likes traveling, cooking, music, basketball, good company and of course cinema.
