Local folklore and pagan stories, myths, legends about ghosts and fairies, enchanted paths and fountains, legends that dominated the collective imagination of previous generations and especially of the grandmothers and grandfathers of the region, will be recorded by the young people in order to create a participatory sound archive.
On the first day of the workshop, the theme of the workshop will be discussed, e.g., children's experiences with such stories, the significance of these stories for past societies, and the medium of audio recording as a tool for exploring reality and the experience of listening. Additionally, a plan for conducting the recording will be developed.
On the second day, the children will seek out stories from their familiar environment, including acquaintances and relatives, ideally from the generation of grandparents, and they will record these stories.
On the third day, we will listen to the stories together and create an audio archive. Subsequently, inspired by the audio narratives collected by the children, a sound walk will take place, during which we will discuss impressions of the environment and the experience of listening to the stories.
