Há terra! Is an encounter, a hunt, a diachronic tale of looking and becoming. As in a game, as in a chase, the film sways between character and land, land and character, predator and prey. in order to exhume a history of survival and political resistance in Brazil’s sertão region.
Ana Vaz
Ana Vaz (b. 1986, Brasília) is an artist and filmmaker. She studied cinema and philosophy i Australia at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and Le Fresnoy – Studio National des Arts Contemporains, Recent screenings of her work include the New York Film Festival – Projections, TIFF Wavelenghts, CPH:DOX etc.
