CIRKELINE: MICE AND ROMANCE / CIRKELINE OST OG KÆRLIGHED
Denmark, France / Color / 61' / 2000
The city, its dangers and wild surprises, becomes once more the stage for a story with Cirkeline, the little elf, and her funny mouse friends Ingolf and Fredrik, who live under the flower pots at the artist’s balcony. The idyllic lives of Cirkeline and her mouse pals are interrupted when they meet the short-sighted Cindermouse, whose grumpy father won’t let her have a birthday party and locks her in a box. The short, fat and cheese-loving Ingolf is forced into action, proving that he is indeed a knight in shining armor.
