Artemis Anastasiadou
She is a screenwriter and director from Thessaloniki, Greece. She studied Drama and Theatre Arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Film Directing at the University of Texas at Austin. Her latest short film "I am Mackenzie" premiered and won the Best Film Award for Texas Shorts at SXSW2019, and the Best Female Filmmaker Award in Greece. The film was screened in more than 100 festivals internationally, (BFI, POFF Black Nights)."To Vancouver" is her first short film shot in rural Greece.
