Loxandra, a girl with Down syndrome, is invited to participate in the new production at the main stage of the National Theatre of Greece. Her mother decides to accept the invitation for her daughter’s own good. Loxandra will fight hard to meet the demands of the new reality. Will she make it?
Dimitris Zachos & Thanasis Kafetzis
He was born in Thessaloniki. He studied Computer Science at the University of Macedonia, and Film at the Department of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since graduating, he has worked at the fields of film, television, and theater productions, and has taught Film in high schools and the university. He has directed fiction and documentary shorts, and a documentary TV series, and has designed and directed video projections for theater performances and video art installations.
He was born in Thessaloniki and is a graduate of the Film Department of Aristotle University. In recent years, he has lived and worked as a filmmaker in Athens. Loxy is his second feature-length documentary.
